The Solar Training Centre is a national award winning registered training organisation. In our Adelaide training facility , we offer solar training and pathways to become a SAA accredited solar installer (formerly CEC accredited).

The Adelaide training facility is fully equipped for theoretical and practical training, delivering accredited and non accredited solar courses.

With over 4000 students trained across Australia since 2009, we are the national solar training experts.

I undertook two courses at Solar Training Centre:1. Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems and2. Working safely in the solar industryThe entire team lead by Steve did an amazing job. The course was well organized. The teaching material on LMS was very adequate and the method of training was very comfortable for the participants from diverse working backgrounds.I have already enrolled for my third course with them for the Battery Storage for Grid Connected Systems Course.And the barbeque, Steve does, on the last day, is the proverbial icing on the cake.

Just finished the PV design and install 1 week course. Great staff and facilities. Free BBQ lunch on Thursday and Friday with visits from industry representatives was the highlight.

I recently attended the Solar Training Centre , Adelaide and it was an exceptional experience. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate, making the learning process enjoyable. The training sessions covered system design, installation, and maintenance. The hands-on practical training and networking opportunities were highlights. I highly recommend the Solar Training Centre for anyone interested in pursuing a career in solar energy.

How do I become a qualified Solar Accreditation Australia solar installer in Adelaide?

To become Solar Accreditation Australia solar installer you first need to complete this Solar Course.

Once we issue your certificate, you may apply for accreditation with Solar Accreditation Australia (formerly Clean Energy Council) here.

Upon completion of the above Design and Install Grid Connected Solar PV Systems Course, you can continue on to the Solar PV Battery Storage Course 

You can also complete our Off grid (Stand-alone) Course as well!!

What can I expect from the solar training?

You can expect our solar courses to cover theory and practical training thoroughly, in line with Australian Standards and industry guidelines. Depending on your course, you will learn how to properly and safely install solar panels and design and install PV systems and battery storage systems.

I am an electrician in Adelaide, which solar course is right for me?

Electricians have three options depending on the level of solar accreditation they require.

Upon completion of the Design and Install Grid Connected Solar PV Systems Course, electricians can apply to Solar Accreditation Australia for accreditation. You can also opt just for a Design Course or an Install course.  Then apply for accreditation with Solar Accreditation Australia  here.

Then, completion of Design and Install Battery Systems for Grid Connected Solar PV Course prepares the student for an application to be accredited Battery Storage Design and /or Install.

Finish off your training with Stand-alone Systems Design or Design and Install!
