You must be a Licensed Electrician (A-grade, full license) to undertake Install studies. Additional accreditation requirements apply

*All students must have completed and unit UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems – if you have completed a Grid PV qualification and are SAA accredited for Grid PV, you can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) for this unit when you enrol in the battery course – currently no fee
*Note all non-electricians also need to complete the prerequisite unit UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy systems – this is in addition to the solar battery course fee and requires additional study
