Solar Battery Storage Course Information

Electricians and other eligible learners who already hold qualifications in Grid-Connected PV System Design and Install can complete this course and be eligible for Battery Design and Install Endorsement by the Clean Energy Council (CEC) (additional CEC accreditation requirements apply – see ).

This Course involves two units of study:

UEERE5001   Design battery storage systems for grid-connected photovoltaic systems

UEERE4001   Install, maintain and fault find battery storage systems for grid-connected photovoltaic systems

Statement of Attainment for successfully completed units of study. Note Electrical Engineers who are CEC accredited in Grid PV Design can complete this course for a Certificate of Completion and apply for CEC accreditation in Battery Endorsement

5 days face to face combined with self-directed study.

Work on live systems with trainers who actually work in the field.  Training includes installation of three different configurations of systems, and two fully worked designs for installer-assembled battery systems for grid. You will receive thorough training and assessment to prepare you for field work – don’t be short changed by completing a shorter course involving only simple design concepts.
