Design and Install Grid Connected Solar PV Systems Course
Solar Installation Course Information
Solar Design Course Information
Licensed Electricians and other eligible learners* can gain entry to provisional Grid-Connect Design and /or Install PV Systems Accreditation with the Clean Energy Council (CEC) by successfully completing this short course (additional CEC accreditation requirements apply – see www.cleanenergycouncil.com.au). You must hold an Australian A-grade (full) electrical license to complete the Install Grid PV Systems course.
If you are not an Electrician or Electrical/Electronic Engineer, contact us to discuss your study options.
Our Grid Connected Solar PV Design /Install Course involves three units of study:
UEENEEK125A Solve basic problems in photovoltaic energy apparatus and systems
UEENEEK135A Design grid connected photovoltaic power supply systems
UEENEEK148A Install, configure and commission LV grid connected photovoltaic power systems
- Students wishing to complete only Design Grid Connected PV Systems will study UEENEEK125A and UEENEEK135A only
- Students wishing to complete only Install Grid Connected PV Systems will study UEENEEK125A and UEENEEK148A only
If you are an Electrical Apprentice, ask us about your study pathway to CEC Accreditation.
Award:
Statement of Attainment for successfully completed units of study.
*Note: Electrical and Electronic Engineers can complete this course and receive a Certificate of Completion which is accepted by the Clean Energy Council for an application as a provisional CEC Accredited Designer.
Duration:
5 days face to face combined with self-directed study online.
Design only and Install only courses are 4 days face to face with self-directed study online.
CEC Accredited Installers who wish to undertake the Design Course are provided credit transfer for studies already completed.
We deliver a comprehensive and thorough course – we don’t cut corners or reduce the course duration just to push you through quickly. In particular, you will complete two full system designs to CEC standards. Our course fully prepares you for your application for CEC accreditation. Our trainers can assist you post face-to-face training with questions you have about your learning.
