Solar PV Installation Course Information
Electricians and other eligible learners can gain their Grid-Connect Install and Design PV System Accreditation from the Clean Energy Council (CEC) by successfully completing this short course (additional CEC accreditation requirements apply – see www.solaraccreditation.com.au ).
This Solar PV Installation Course involves three units of study: .
UEENEEK125A Solve basic problems in photovoltaic energy apparatus and systems
UEENEEK135A Design grid connected photovoltaic power supply systems
UEENEEK148A Install, configure and commission LV grid connected photovoltaic power systems
Award:
Statement of Attainment for successfully completed units of study. Note Electrical Engineers can complete this course and receive a Certificate of Completion which is accepted by the Clean Energy Council.
Duration:
5 days face to face combined with self-directed study.
We deliver a comprehensive and thorough course – we don’t cut corners or reduce the course duration just to push you through quickly. In particular, you will complete two full system designs to CEC standards. Our trainers can assist you post course with questions you have about assessments.

Solar PV Installation Course Includes:
- How to solve predictable problems in photovoltaic energy apparatus operating at extra low voltage
- Comprehensive training in how to design grid connected power supply systems in line with Australian Standards and CEC guidelines
- How to set up, install and adjust photovoltaic power systems and connect to a supply grid inverter
- Practical training including installation of PV panels on two types of roof construction, and installation and commissioning of grid connected inverters
- 4 Written and 4 practical assessments
