Solar Training Centre (RTO #40352) and AWISE have joined forces to present a Scholarship opportunity to female electricians and fourth year apprentices in Australia.

The Solar Training Centre AWISE Women in Solar Training Scholarship assists women in solar to strengthen their position and employment opportunities in the solar industry through quality education.

Solar Training Centre (RTO 40352) is a leading Registered Training Organisation providing nationally accredited qualifications and other training programs in solar, storage, renewables and energy efficiency.

AWISE are united towards a common goal of advancing women in all aspects of the solar energy industry, promoting diversity and forward-thinking business practices. Offering a supportive and inclusive environment for women, AWISE will grow a community that encourages skilled women to join and be successful in the industry.

Eligibility Criteria

The Scholarship is open to eligible female electricians, fourth year electrical apprentices and electrical engineers resident in any Australian state or territory who have some prior experience in working in renewables and who have not yet completed qualifications towards accreditation with Solar Accreditation Australia.
The winner will enrol in Solar Training Centre’s Design and Install Grid PV Systems course (electricians and apprentices) or Design Grid PV Systems course (electrical engineers). Course information is available on our course page – see SELECT COURSES at the top of this page. The Scholarship is valued at up to $2595. The Scholarship winner will be announced at the AWISE Recharge Your Spark event before the All Energy Conference. Detailed eligibility criteria and terms and conditions are provided in the application form once enrolments are open.
