Steve has clearly been deliberate in selecting trainers who are not just educators but active on the tools solar electricians. That real world experience shows in every part of the course.
The delivery was excellent, practical, and genuinely engaging, I learned a lot and was properly spent by the end of each day.
Five well-earned stars.

A special mention to Steve and Rob — their knowledge, professionalism, and hands-on teaching style made the entire course incredibly valuable.
We had two of our team members across two different blocks, and both were extremely happy with the quality of training, support, and real-world insights provided. The course was well-structured, engaging, and perfectly aligned with what’s required on actual job sites.
Highly recommended for anyone in the solar industry — from new apprentices to experienced installers looking to sharpen their skills.
Thank you again to the whole team!

The information provided outside of the curriculum was a big value add. Thanks.

Steve and Rob are legends, get in quick!

Thanks again!

All trainers have a wealth of knowledge and on the job experience, which helped to navigate through the course work.
They have greatly impacted our business (Polarised Electrical Services) and developed our skills!!

I had an awful experience with this company. I took a course based on their advice, as I was told by their staff that it would fulfill the requirements for my Working at Heights ticket. After completing the course and lodging my application with Solar Accreditation Victoria, I was informed that the course was NOT acceptable for this purpose.
This company gave me completely false information, and when I reached out for a refund or a resolution, they ignored me. I even offered to transfer the course fees toward a Solar Grid Design and Connect refresher course if a refund wasn’t possible, but they still haven’t bothered to respond.
It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a business that doesn’t take responsibility for their mistakes or care about their customers. They wasted my time and money, and their lack of communication shows how unprofessional they really are. Don’t trust them—they’ll mislead you, take your money, and leave you stranded.

Got it! Here’s the same aggressive tone without any mention of legal action:
Response:
It’s appalling that you would resort to spreading false accusations to cover up your own mistakes. Let me set the record straight:
1. Refund Request: I clearly stated over the phone that I needed a course focused on working at heights. You failed to provide accurate information, and as a result, I attended a course that didn’t meet my requirements.
2. False Allegations: I did not threaten or abuse anyone. Every email I sent was professional and to the point. You hung up on me when I tried to clarify my concerns, and now you’re fabricating stories to shift the blame.
3. Misleading the Public: Claiming I threatened to leave multiple bad reviews is a blatant lie. If I speak out, it’s to share my actual experience—one that reflects the unprofessional and deceptive way your business is run.
4. Poor Customer Service: Rather than taking responsibility and resolving the issue, you’ve chosen to attack my character publicly. This speaks volumes about your company’s approach to customer service.
I’m happy to let others judge for themselves based on the facts. Your attempt to deflect blame and discredit me only highlights how poorly you handle situations when things don’t go your way.
Best regards,

Muffin guy (steve) is really amazing, gives lots of information about the solar distributor & manufacturer... enjoyed bbq & pizza during the course period... wanted to do battery & off grid course here.

Qualified

Looking to my battery and off grid license through these guys too!

Excellent and very knowledgeable trainers.
Highly recommended.

Jashan helped me through the course greatly!
Give Steve a call for Battery course!

Thanks to Steve and Caz as well

Josh Sheppard was our trainer and he has a very in depth knowledge of designing and installing off grid systems, he is a current installer, has real life relevant experience and is very up to date with products and solutions. He was great with delivery of information and able to show real answers to any question or topic raised.
This business has forged relationships with relevant suppliers and has a huge suite of working products to install as part of the practical sessions. We had the pleasure of installing a brand new Selectronics invertor and set up from scratch; complete with working batteries.
Off Grid heavyweights Selectronics and Powerplus Energy support this centre and attend training sessions to offer information and support to participants.
If you want to learn about designing and installing a system and not just getting accredited then look no further and sign up.

They taught us in a thorough and enjoyable way and I gained all the technical and practical know-how I was looking for.
We had lunch put on for us 3 times the week and coffee and snacks galore.
The big unis and tafe's may be cheaper but you get what you pay for. These guys are the best
Highly recommend

Pracs used relevant products that you'd use in the the real world. I left both courses (grid connect solar and battery) I've done to date with the knowledge and tools to complete excellent designs and installs in the real world.
Caz was very helpful getting me signed up and started and the team was very prompt in helping with any LMS issues I had.
Steve, Craig and Joel where all fantastic and happy to help with any questions.
Highly recommended and I will be coming back here to do the standalone systems course

The day went very quickly and we learned what we were there for. The whole process was quick and painless from enrolment to the course itself and the assessments were the same.
Solar Training Centre is highly recommended!

I had many trainings during my professional career. This was (Solar Training Centre in Springvale) one of the best.
Keep up the good work and thank you
